Georgia Power Discount
Georgia Power customers 65 years of age or older with a combined household income of 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines ($24,980) or less, may qualify for an Income-Qualified Senior Citizen Discount. Fill out the information below to submit your Income-Qualified Senior Citizen Discount application securely online. The discount is limited solely to the metered electric service and fuel cost recovery components of a customer's bill and does not apply to sales taxes or any other aspect of the bill.

Rules to Receiving the $14 Discount every month: I am sixty-five (65) years of age or older. (A copy of my driver’s license, photo ID or birth certificate is attached.) ○ I live at the address referenced below, and the natural gas service account is currently in my name. ○ The total annual combined gross income for my household is $24,980 or less. (A copy of my W-2, recent tax return or social security pay stub is attached.)

LIHEAP
The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program helps eligible customers pay for their heating service through grants that do not need to be repaid. Even if you qualified for LIHEAP last year, you still must reapply. Call 404.657.3426 or 877.423.4746 (option 5)
